The 34-th edition of the Grand International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI 2024 took place in March 2024.
The six-day tasting in the traditional city hall Saalbau in Neustadt/Weinstrasse, Germany, saw an impressive number of more than 250 wine experts coming from 55 different countries and highlighted the strong presence and exceptional quality of wines from Eastern European countries.
The Spring Tasting is always a very good indicator for the quality of the wines from the new vintage coming onto the market now. Mid-march we will hand-over the awards for the Best of Show wines to the producers personally on ProWein, the most important wine trade fair in the world. This is always a very special moment for the board and me, because during the tasting only the quality in the bottle is important. The jury has only basic information about the wines like vintage and grape variety, so focus during the judgement is completely on the quality in the bottle.
For Minkov Brothers Winery, participation in the spring edition of Mundus Vini 2024 was yet another success! All wines submitted by the winery to the competition were awarded a gold medal.
The good news is that any wine enthusiast in Bulgaria can easily purchase any of the award-winning wines because each of them is readily available on our market.
