WINES OF MINKOV BROTHERS WINE CELLAR WIN TWO GOLD AND ONE SILVER MEDAL IN PARIS
Mar 03, 2010

While the jury at the Vinaria fair is still wondering how to distribute this year’s awards, Bulgarians already drink the wines of the only wine cellar awarded with two gold and one silver medal in Paris! On the vary national holiday of Bulgaria, 3 March, the Minkov Brothers Wine Cellar once again made millions of Bulgarians feel proud. The legendary winery won a landslide victory at the most prestigious French wine competition Vinalies Internationales and brought Bulgaria two gold and one silver medal with the fantastic red wines of the MINKOV BROTHERS series.

The world’s 100 most famous oenologists awarded gold medals to the MINKOV BROTHERS Cuveé and the MINKOV BROTHERS Syrah. The elegant MINKOV BROTHERS Cabernet Sauvignon won a silver medal. All these wines originate form the famous wine cellar’s own vineyards.

Europe’s top wine tasters couldn’t believe that Bulgarian wines from the “most French variety”, Syrah, brought the world’s wine capital, Paris, to its knees, and dethroned the French elixirs in their own country. This has been a great recognition for the Minkov Brothers Wine Cellar, which has been growing this grape variety on the fertile land of the Karnobat area for many years. At the competition, this Bulgarian Syrah was represented both as a varietal wine – the MINKOV BROTHERS Syrah, and blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in the MINKOV BROTHERS Cuveé.
