The Grand Prize for Quality, a Gold Medal from the world’s most prestigious wine competition Decanter World Wine Awards, was awarded for the third time in a half a decade to a wine from Minkov Brothers. Honor granted only to the best producers in the world. This year, Minkov Brothers Cuvee has an impressive result of 95 tasting points.
The competition is a world standard for quality and a leader in influence among wine traders. The gold medal adds value to the international markets that are already waiting for Minkov Brothers Cuvee to appear on the shelf. It received an additional judging bonus for its attractive price. Minkov Brothers Cuvee - a charming wine with the brilliance of a diamond
Minkov Brother Cuvee was nominated by the jury, including some of the most prominent tasters, such as Bett Villar and Carlaine Gilli, MW as "Excellent structured wine with lots of charm, cocoa and chocolate nose, spicy peppers, and a delicate shade of violets. Wine with a juicy and fresh palate and with delicate velvety tannins. Wine that gives a delight and a bouquet of positive emotions ". In 2016, their colleague Angela Muar called Minkov Brothers "a brilliant wine as a diamond." The harmonious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah symbolizes the unity of tradition, family heritage and innovation. These are the values on which the cellar is built.
From our vines
During her visit in 2011, Caroline Gilby, MW was amazed from the magnificent terroir of the vines and forecasted that in the years ahead the wines produced in the cellar will be wines with enviable potential, excellent variety distinctiveness and unique character. This was an unmistakable rating, crowned with three golden medals by Decanter by far and another 5 gold and 11 silver medals of other prestigious world completions for the first half of the year.
